Dr. Pedro Sánchez Palma, is an Associate Professor at the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena. He received the M.Sc degree in Computer Science from the Universidad de Málaga in 1993 and the Ph.D degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in 2000. From 1991 to 1993 he worked for FACCSA (a company dedicated to the manufacturing of meat) in the field of system engineering and administration of the server operating systems and database management engines. He is associate professor of Software Engineering and Programming Languages since 1993. In 2000 he joined the Department of Electronics Technology at the UPCT. He has participated in 23 funded projects (4 EU projects), twice as co-ordinator. He has supervised 4 PhD. theses and published 28 JCR-indexed articles and more than 80 papers in conferences and books chapters. He has been a visiting scholar at Imperial College London, UK (2011). His current research interests include model driven software engineering, robotics and real-time systems. He is founder and Vice-CEO of Cloud Incubator HUB incubation center.
